The Karma ( Happily Married Series )

 It was a beautiful Sunday evening. I was reading the book “Think and Grow Rich” written by Napoleon Hill. I was amazed by the contents of the book, as I feel that all the other Self-help books have been taken a page from that book and written.

“Do you want Herbal Tea ?” a sweet voice echoed from the Kitchen.

I am little surprised, as it is the first time in the history my wife have asked whether I need a Herbal Tea. Usually, she will prepare the Herbal Tea only if I request her.

She inquired me what is the book I am reading after presenting the Herbal tea. I told her, it is the “Book of all Books”.

She was least bothered about I was telling.

“We need to present something for our son for his Birthday which is coming this month” she said.

“Sure, Why not ?”

“As he likes car very much, let’s present him car this Birthday” She replied.

I told her that it is a good idea. Usually, he plays with his red toy car everytime. He holds the car in his hand and move it all over our home.

Sometimes, he comes and moves the car on top of me and also on top of the book that I am reading.

I told her to select the car and “Add to Cart” in the Amazon.

“Whether Amazon sells cars also” she asked surprisingly

“Have you seen Amazon logo, it have a arrow that connects A to Z,  which represents that it sells everything from A to Z” I smiled and replied.

“It is better to visit showroom and purchase a car, rather than in Amazon”

“Why to spend Rs.300 to go to the showroom to buy a Rs.300 worth car” I asked.

“Hello Daddy, I am talking about the Original car and not Toy car” She replied.

“Whether the gift for our Son or you” I asked angrily.

Saint inside me told that “In this Bangalore traffic, both our Zen and BMW will go in the same speed”

“Stop giving me Gyan and tell whether you can buy or not”

“I need to achieve Financial Freedom by 2030 and go to our hometown. So I am interested to invest in something that is a liability”

Without replying anything, she went inside the bedroom. Lucklily I got my Herbal Tea.I sipped it quickly and I want to get out of the scene as soon as possible before.  

I started my car without knowing the destination. I just want to get out of my home and need some peace.

In the car, the below Mahamantra was playing with a melodious music.

'Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare'

I got the answer for the destination and started moving towards the Krishna temple.

I reached the temple and prayed to Lord Krishna to give me mental peace and happiness. On opening the eyes, one of the volunteers have requested me to attend a few Bhagavad Gita session that will start in a couple of minutes and asked me to go to the auditorium which is in the first floor.

In the temple auditorium, the chairs were neatly arranged. I went and occupied the seat in the first row. An young handsome looking person in a saffron Cloth entered the auditorium and taken the seat on the stage. He started his speech with a regular prayer.

He has a cute smile on his face always. He told the audience that today's topic is 'KARMA'. He asked us 'What is Karma ?'. Everyone gave their version of definition. He had given a brilliant speech and slowly got answers for all my questions which was in my mind for a long time. Yes, suddenly I could feel a sense of peace and happiness.

He finished his session and asked us 'Do you have any questions?'

After the session, I went to the saintly person and told him 'Your speech is Awesome. I got many of my answers. Thank you'

'All proud to God' he replied humbly with a beautiful smile on his face.

I returned home with a clarity. As soon as I reached home, I went straight to my wife.

She was busy preparing her favorite Idli.I caught her hand and I told 'I got a great Wisdom today and I am Sorry'

She was puzzled by my behavior.

I continued 'You are irritating me, because of my past bad Karmas. So there is no use in getting anger with you. Indeed I need to Thank you for helping me delete my bad Karmas from my Karmic account'

I thanked her and hugged her softly.

'It's OK. I could understand your feelings' she replied.

'You are the best husband. Do You know, I have rejected many boys before selecting you. My inner voice rightly told that 'You are my better half'

Her eyes became moist and asked me 'Whether I will prepare Chapati for Dinner'

'Your Wish' I replied.

I saw the Lord Krishna photo in the Calendar in the hall which is Written

'Anyone who takes shelter under my lotus feet will be saved'
